Theoretically, as long as your hands are fast enough, the firing speed of a revolver can be increased indefinitely. Vinigo’s hands were reasonably dexterous, and with the help of a specially crafted speed loader, he could dump casings and reload in roughly one second.

Thus, the gunfire never ceased from the very beginning.

The power of the bullets was clearly greater than that of ordinary bows and arrows, especially at this range; Vinigo’s shooting was enough to keep the Malza at bay, preventing them from advancing a single inch. Everything depended solely on how much effort Vinigo wished to exert and how much ammunition he was willing to burn.

"Too weak," the Little Wolf Princess hopped to Vinigo’s side and complained, "Are these really our targets?"

"Just some small fry to warm up with," Vinigo laughed. "The weakest tribe, a bunch of raw recruits—these guys are likely just passing through."

"Boring." The Little Wolf Princess crouched beside Vinigo, tilting her head. She reached out to brush a snowflake from her ear, blinking as she surveyed the surroundings. "Are there... any stronger ones?" she asked.

"There are, but you’ll have to wait a while," Vinigo replied. "Our battle will attract targets worth noting. There, their signal has been sent."

The signal of the Malza was a bolt of electricity that pierced straight into the clouds.

"Don't let me down," Vinigo said with a smile, removing his cloak entirely.

He was wearing a bizarre garment.

The suit was made of a gelatinous substance—a colloid naturally condensed from the body fluids of genetically modified worms, which had then mutated through parasitism by golden-red xenocells. Unlike the glove Yuri possessed, it did not exist in symbiosis but rather in a state of dormancy.

When attacked, these cells would activate, striving to form a protective layer to shield the false vital points within the colloid. In turn, this protected the vital points of the wearer beneath the gelatinous suit.

Simultaneously, the suit secreted a neurotoxin. This mild toxin numbed the body’s pain receptors and triggered abnormal nerve secretions, stimulating the body’s muscles to produce greater strength. However, using this overloaded power for extended periods would damage the human body.

Therefore, one also had to use buffers and restoratives to provide sufficient biological energy, minimize damage, and increase recovery efficiency. These were delivered via three types of alchemical agents stored in hollow sacs on the back of the gelatinous suit. The suit possessed a highly sophisticated fluid-channeling system that distributed these agents throughout the wearer’s body.

"Biological enhancement inner-armor, my latest creation. Of course, thanks to Jessie, thanks to Nua, and thanks to the technology left behind by the dead Krigons," Vinigo chuckled. "The test begins."

"Good luck, brother Little Fox." The Little Wolf Princess crouched to the side to watch the spectacle, taking no responsibility for the fight; enemies of this caliber could not pique her interest.

With the Little Wolf Princess guarding his flank, Vinigo could essentially set his mind at ease.

He strode forward, charging toward the nearest Malza warrior.

The warrior before him bared her teeth, raised her battle sword high, and shook her left hand to scatter a flurry of electrical sparks as she lunged at Vinigo. This was one of the Malza warriors' customary tactics: while the enemy was distracted by the sparks, a single downward slash would be enough to split them in two.

But her movements were not fast enough.

Vinigo ignored the electrical powder and charged straight through it. He understood this wind-element magic well and knew clearly that these sparks would automatically scatter and divide on the flat, snowy ground; as long as one charged straight ahead, one would remain unaffected.

The only thing he had to deal with was the descending blade.

Vinigo reached out, his empty left hand accurately gripping the Malza warrior’s right wrist. He pulled back, dragging the Malza woman directly into his embrace. She shrieked in shock and rage, but what awaited her was Vinigo’s thrusting right elbow.

A heart-sealing strike—like a spear piercing through—the explosive force shattered her ribs, severely damaging her heart and lungs. It was a fatal wound in a single blow.

Vinigo, showing no mercy, swung the Malza woman around and slammed her heavily into the face of another warrior. Simultaneously, he sprinted forward, using the air currents of the "Azure Sky" to propel himself into the air. He fired three shots downward, wounding three more Malza warriors who intended to catch him in a pincer attack.

Vinigo landed hard and swept his leg, kicking up a massive spray of snow. Amidst the flurry, he collided with an injured warrior like a cannonball, clamped his hand onto her neck, and pressed down, pinning her to the ground before dropping his knee heavily onto her chest.

Second one.

Vinigo sprang up abruptly, his leg sweeping horizontally with immense force. The power surging from the gelatinous suit granted the kick several times its normal strength; a single strike caused the Malza warrior’s neck to bend at an unnatural angle, clearly snapping it.

Third one.

Bang, bang, bang.

Vinigo raised his gun and fired with unhurried precision, stylishly flicking the cylinder to eject the casings before rapidly loading fresh rounds. Watching the Malza charging toward him, Vinigo let out a sharp laugh, holstered his pistol, and drew a new weapon.

The legendary blade, *Pufferfish Poison*!

The sharp Japanese sword shimmered with a cold light; it hummed with excitement, and with a single swing from Vinigo, it cast a dazzling arc of moonlight.

*Arc Moon Slash: Pseudo.*

Mimicking the movements of Haohmaru, the flashing blade light violently sliced the lead Malza warrior from abdomen to collarbone. A spray of violent blood mist turned the snowy ground a deep crimson. Vinigo retracted the blade and slashed again, a fierce blow across the chest.

*Yagami Genjuro’s Heavy Slash.*

Although it was merely an imitation of the form, with the abundant strength provided by the gelatinous suit, Vinigo’s choice to learn these direct, wide-open slashes was undoubtedly the correct one. One parry, one slash—two more died.

Fourth, fifth.

The downward slash left an opening before he could change his stance. Before the Malza could strike, air currents surged beneath Vinigo’s feet, kicking up a storm of snow and propelling him backward at high speed.

When the Malza broke through the snow, they were met once again by that brilliant blade light.

Blade light as toxic as a pufferfish, lethal blade light.

At the same time, there was the air pressure vented from the "Azure Sky."

*Finger Gun: M1911.*

High-pressure air bullets, equivalent to real rounds, pierced the foreheads of the Malza, while the blade light slashed another warrior from left shoulder to right hip. Amidst the sky-filling blood mist, the sixth and seventh fell.

Vinigo grinned, letting out a crisp, clear laugh.

Stained with blood, the hideous gelatinous suit looked like a skinned human body—indescribably horrific, like a demon from hell.

This image was enough to strike fear into the hearts of warriors whose resolve was not firm enough.

And fear was the nutrient Vinigo loved most.

The more the Malza feared him, the more fluid Vinigo’s slaughter became. He began to imitate other moves from Haohmaru and Yagami, and he even nearly managed to execute Ukyo Tachibana’s *Step-Residual Image Slash*.

However, without the actual afterimage, such a slash seemed somewhat ridiculous.

Yet, despite having only the form, the power and speed provided by the gelatinous suit still made it terrifyingly lethal.

Eighth, ninth, tenth... more and more Malza warriors fell. They could see no hope of success; all they saw was the writhing body of the demon, the dazzling blade light, and an ever-increasing amount of blood.

By the time Vinigo had depleted the magical fuel in the "Azure Sky," he had downed forty-six Malza warriors. Before that, the Little Wolf Princess’s surprise attacks had taken out forty-eight.

"Won!" The Little Wolf Princess hopped to Vinigo’s side, gesturing with her claws and announcing it proudly.

Vinigo laughed and looked toward the last survivors in the distance.

"That’s about it," Vinigo said. He peeled off the experimental gelatinous suit, frowned as he inspected it for a moment, and complained, "It’s failed. As expected, once activated, it dies off quickly. Still, thanks to it, almost all the damage was absorbed."

"I can feel it; it's here," the Little Wolf Princess said, ignoring the ugly suit that looked like a skinned human. She spoke with excitement, "A strong opponent."

"I'll leave it to you. I'm not interested." Vinigo rolled the failed suit into a ball, intending to throw it away, but after a second thought, he tucked it away instead.

In the distance, a white line approached at high speed.

It was a creature sprinting at an astonishing velocity. The Little Wolf Princess’s eyes instantly turned a translucent, blood-red, like gemstones.

Blood-colored gemstones.

She felt the opponent’s strength, and from the white wolf skin draped over the newcomer’s shoulders, she sensed a fury erupting from the very depths of the soul.

"White werewolf skin? A branch of the Dragon-Vein Werewolves..." Vinigo sensed the Little Wolf Princess’s suddenly surging battle intent and couldn’t help but laugh. "No wonder Akana reacted."

He stepped back, standing behind the Little Wolf Princess, and readied himself for combat.

The Little Wolf Princess let out a sharp whistle and lunged forward, meeting the Malza clad in the white wolf skin.

"The White Wolf of the Rift-Sky Tribe, Watning Rift-Sky. He is here—which means the Rift-Sky Tribe is involved in this as well," Soft whispered to himself inside the outpost. Sophie looked at him, slightly turning her head.

"You are hesitating," Sophie said.

"After all, on one side is the country of my mother and the kingdom I serve, and on the other is the bloodline of my biological father, even though he never acknowledged me," Soft said with a wry smile. "Though I swore that my life no longer belonged to me, but to His Majesty the King, I still find myself hesitating."

"Understood," Sophie nodded. "However, war is war, and battle is battle."

"Indeed it is."

Amidst the snow, the Little Wolf Princess moved like a peregrine falcon dancing in the air. She pushed her ability to change direction at high speed to the limit, circling Watning and attacking relentlessly. Her Spider-Wolf claws clashed with Watning’s bracers, sparking brilliantly. The continuous clashing sound was like a passionate piece of music, stirring the soul.

The Song of Slaughter!
