After visiting several farms, Chen Gu decided not to continue following the path of the farms he had already occupied. Unlike Pan, who would lose track of his objectives upon seeing a farm, Chen Gu remembered exactly what he needed. His target was Longfeng City.

With a soft sigh, Chen Gu led his Corpse Vines toward the Administration Hall. Pan noticed him entering and, acknowledging Chen Gu as his superior, allowed his troops to let him pass without interference. Pan stood up quickly upon seeing him.

"My lord, you have arrived."

"Yes. I received your message and came to see for myself. How are things? Is Longfeng City under your control?"

"Yes, but the situation here is not ideal. Please, take a look at this, my lord."

As Pan spoke, he gestured toward the city heart. Upon touching it, the information for Longfeng City appeared before Chen Gu:

"That depends on your vision, my lord. I primarily want mechanical units for easier control. This battle showed me that relying solely on conventional troops won't make me the strongest hero."

"Very well, I will help you find a way."

Chen Gu walked over to a harvester. Although it had been cleaned, he could still see the marks left from the recent battle on its blades.

The wild wolves were better, but the success rate was only 49%, which was still lower than the scarecrows.

Chen Gu explained the situation and looked back at Pan. Pan thought for a moment before asking, "My lord, why is the success rate so low?"

"The harvester is too large, and the animals you've provided are too small. If I were you, I would stick with the wolves; while the success rate is lower, it’s the most logical path. If you want to modify the crows or rats, you should use different machinery."

Pan did have other agricultural equipment, though those machines had not played a decisive role in the previous battle, leading him to consider discarding them. Hearing Chen Gu's advice, he said, "I have a few other types of farm machinery here. Please, take a look."

After Pan brought out the unused equipment, Chen Gu quickly identified a machine perfectly suited for the rats: a tiller.
